The project for my Interior Design course throughout my three weeks at The New School: Parsons was to reimagine and repurpose the historical Fort Jay’s Theatre on Governors’ Island.

My vision for the theater was to create a transformational open space in which during the day the building would serve as a marketplace with local artisans and food vendors. Once the sun set, the space would transform into a luxurious lounge and movie theatre.

Below are my sketches, models, references, and ideas as they progressed from week-to-week.
